38th NATO Telemark Festival: March 9 & 10, 2013
Tele skiers from around the planet are gathering for the "Mother Of All Telemark Festivals. A FreeHeel celebration charged with extraordinary Mad River Glen skiing, wild-championship races, skill clinics, the legendary Magic Hat Tele-Dance Party and whole lot of fun!

MAY

The event is a 4-stage triathlon, which includes running, paddling, biking and skiing in the beautiful Mad River Valley. The Mad River Path Association is partnered with Sugarbush Resort to host the games.



Valley Walk and Roll Festival 
Come join the Mad River Valley Walk n' Roll festival! Celebrate biking and walking with a week full of activities for the whole family. There will be a full slate of events to encourage healthy, fun alternatives to riding in your car.


Waitsfield Farmers Market: every Saturday 9 am - 1 pm Mid May thru Mid October
You'll find fresh produce, flowers, seedlings, honey, wool, eggs, meat, cheese and other farm products, along with crafts made in Vermont, baked goods, and prepared food and live music.

Green Mountain Opera Festival: 
From Montreal to Boston to New York and beyond, this three-week opera festival is quickly gaining an amazing reputation. Located in the Historic Round Barn, the festival features vocal talent from all over the world.

JULY

Warren 4th of July Parade: July 4th
World famous zany, wacky and fun, fun, fun, Warren Parade.

Mad Marathon: July 7, 2013
Run through this extraordinary rural community on back and
dirt roads, with breathtaking views of the Green Mountains. The marathon course will be certified and sanctioned by the US Track & Field. 

Farm To Table Dinner: July 20, 2013
Dine al fresco among the East Warren Community Market community gardens and enjoy the collaboration of talents and foods featuring six local chefs and farms.

August

Vermont Festival of the Arts: Aug 1,  - thru Labor Day.
Entertain the soul, enlighten the mind, energize the spirit, with 125 exhibits, performances, workshops, demos by a variety of Vermont artists.

Rock The River : "Friends of the Mad River" benefit.
Good Music. Good Food. Good People. Time to honor and celebrate our beautiful Mad River. Get your Junky Boat on for an epic race down the river.

4 days of exciting and challenging road bike racing in the Green Mountains of Vermont

Valley Player's Theater hosts more than 100 juried artists for a fabulous craft fair under a tent and outside at Kenyon's Field.
