I could hardly see the forest for the.... And that little red eft was a sweet surprise when I stopped to check out those white bumps on a log. That photo cost me a dozen mosquito bites, a handful of black fly nips and a too close for comfort encounter with some stinging nettle... worth every scratch. The electric yellow substance is slime mold... first thought was "some creative bird has left his mark"
